Sigma Gamma Rho Issues Statement on the Passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

The sorority sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority, Inc. released an official statement on the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Saturday.
“Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a pioneer for women’s rights and a passionate advocate of civil rights,” said Rasheeda Liberty, International Grand Basileus of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
“As an organization dedicated to service and the empowerment of women, we were inspired by her commitment, humanity and extraordinary career achievements. Her death is a tragic loss for all Americans and while we mourn her passing, we are dedicated to uphold her vision of equality for all.”
