Read the Statement Zeta Phi Beta Released Regarding the School Shooting in Parkland, Florida
Dr. Mary Breaux Wright, the International President of Zeta Phi Beta recently released a public statement on behalf of the sorority regarding the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School in Parkland, Florida.
“We refuse to accept this culture of killing that has emerged as the ‘new normal’ in America. Our children cannot live in fear. Today, we must commit to taking action by speaking out against violence and speaking up for the mentally ill,” she wrote in the statement.
