Carolina Panther Mike Brown Teams Up With Omega Psi Phi To Build Bridges Between Community And Police

Mike Brown of the Carolina Panthers recently teamed up with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Charlottesville Police Foundation by hosting a community day in order to build bridges between the police and the community in Charlottesville, VA.
The fraternity supplied food and police officers brought games. There were jump houses, face painting, and other activities for the community to enjoy.
“It’s more than just serving the community, we’re actually invested in it,” said Michael Gore, Omega Psi Phi fraternity member and Sergeant with the Charlottesville Police Department. “We want to be a part of that community and wanted them to see that we are approachable and that we’re willing to come out here and help foster the relationship, build it, make it stronger, so that we will always have that open line of communication.”
