Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Kennedy Whisenant Crowned Miss Collegiate America 2022
Kennedy Whisenant, a soror of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a student at Clark Atlanta University was just crowned Miss Collegiate America 2022.
Whisenant, an initiate of the Alpha Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., broke barriers by becoming the first African American woman to win the Miss Georgia Collegiate America Pageant in 2021 and now she has become the second African American woman to win the National Miss Collegiate America title.
She took to Instagram to celebrate her victory.
Alpha Kappa Alpha took to social media to congratulate their soror on her victory.
As Miss Collegiate America 2022, Kennedy will take home more than $400,000 dollars in scholarships and prizes and a brand new 2022 Jeep Sahara Wrangler.
We at Watch The Yard would like to congratulate Kennedy on her superb achievement.
