Throughout the years, women of Zeta Phi Beta have been trailblazers in the field of sports.

To celebrate their success in the field, we at Watch The Yard have created a list of some but not all of the notable members of the sorority who have played basketball in the WNBA.

Mistie Bass

Mistie Bass is an initiate of the Nu Omicron Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta who has played for the Houston Comets, Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, Phoenix Mercury and Canberra Capitals in Australia.

Wendy Palmer

Wendy Palmer is a former WNBA player, and former head coach of the UNCG women’s basketball team. During her time in the WNBA, she played for the Utah Starzz, Detroit Shock, Orlando Miracle, Connecticut Sun, San Antonio Silver Stars, and the Seattle Storm. She is an initiate of the Tau Theta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta.

Chantel Tremitiere

Chantel Tremitiere is an initiate of the Gamma Xi Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta who played for the Sacramento Monarchs, Utah Starzz, and Indiana Fever.

DeMya Walker

DeMya Walker is an initiate of the Tau Theta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta who has played for the Portland Fire, Sacramento Monarchs, Connecticut Sun, Washington Mystics and the New York Liberty. She is a 2005 WNBA All-Star and a 2005 WNBA Champion.
