This Sigma + AKA Couple Went Back To Kentucky State University For Their Beautiful Engagement Photos

This weeks D9 wedding feature comes all the way from the campus of Kentucky State University where two alumni, Jennifer Powell(Alpha Kappa Alpha) and LuVell Williams(Phi Beta Sigma) are showing us that there is nothing like that #BlueIvyLove!

Jennifer Powell and LuVell Williams are KSU alumni who graduate in the mid 1990’s but reconnected through Facebook 4 years ago. They fell in love and are planning their beautiful wedding for 2017 and took their engagement pics this Homecoming 2016 on their campus where according to them, “the boy became a man and the girl became a woman.”

For their engagement photos, the couple visited their fraternity and sorority plots on campus. Don’t they look great?!

On their wedding website, the couple even brings up greekdom when describing how they met.

“Jennifer prayed for God to bring her a man that placed him first in his life, loved his family, would support her love for KSU and connection to AKA, would love her children & family, sober, proud, smart, and still humble. This man would love her unconditionally and inspire her to be ‘MORE’.

Lu prayed for a woman that would love his “All”…His God, his family, his spirit, and his heart.”
