Entrepreneur Dwan “Dee” Martin Inducted as Honorary Member of Sigma Gamma Rho

At the 60th International Biennial Boule held in Houston this weekend, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly inducted Dwan “Dee” Martin as an honorary member.
Dwan Martin is a dynamic entrepreneur whose influence spans across several industries. As the driving force behind Urban Luxe Cafe, a chain of beauty salons, and a successful real estate holding firm, Martin has established herself as a multifaceted business leader. Her work includes a burgeoning career as a published author and as the Host and Producer of the highly anticipated daytime talk show, Espresso Self, which is set to debut on a major network.
Despite her busy schedule, Martin remains deeply committed to community engagement. At Urban Luxe Cafe, she has created a vibrant space where artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders converge. Her efforts have had a significant impact on the South Shore and Englewood areas of Chicago, earning her recognition from publications such as the Chicago Tribune and The New York Times.
