Prom season is almost over and while we at WatchTheYard.com focus on college life, we had to show the high schoolers some love because this video was pure GREATNESS!
Three students from Benton Harbor, Michigan decided to skip the traditional prom wear and go to prom dressed up as characters from Coming To America. But they didn’t just dress up as the characters, the also recreated re-created the “She’s Your Queen to Be” scene from the movie. Listen to the song that this student sings!
These kids did a perfect recreation of Vanessa Bell Calloway and Eddie Murphy!
Watch how they greeted their subjects!
It is great to see this type of humor and creativity coming out of young black highschool students.
