It is with great sadness that we inform you that the Honorable Founder Charles Brown, one of the founders of Iota Phi Theta has passed away.

The fraternity took to social media this afternoon while celebrating its 56th Founders Day with the following message:

“Details regarding homegoing services are forthcoming, but as we continue to celebrate our 56th Founders’ Day, we ask that all Iota Brothers take a moment of silence in honor of Founder Brown at 5:55 PM today. #OLE #AlphaIotaOmega ”
