Watch This Outstanding 45-Minute Documentary On Delta Sigma Theta’s Involvement In The Women’s Suffrage Movement
This may be the most well-rounded documentary about Black greekdom that exists! And who is it about? The women of Delta Sigma Theta!
In 2006, Derek Fordjour and Jamar White created the Black Sorority Project: The Exodus, a full-length documentary feature chronicling the lives of 22 Howard University Women who marched in the Women’s Suffrage March of 1913 and changed the course of history forever. These were the women of Delta Sigma Theta.
We urge anyone interested in the history of the NPHC to watch this documentary. From the animation, to the pictures used, to the composition and interviews, this documentary gets a five star rating from the WatchTheYard.com team.
