The Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. just delivered a 125,000 check to Florida A&M University in scholarships for women who go to the school.
Yes, that is right! Their chapter put their money where their mouth is when it comes to service and dropped not $10,000, not $20,000, not even $50,000 but $125,000 in scholarships for women who attend FAMU.
The Deltas say “Intelligence is the Torch of Wisdom” and what better way to back that up than providing funds to create pathways for young women to receive that wisdom.
Homecoming 2017 was everything I could have imagined and more! I was so happy to reconnect with my class of '07 freshman friends, my crew: Michelle Foree, Isaiah Haynes and my linesisters and prophytes! Congratulations to T.I.T.E 56 on turning 10 in Delta and donating $10,000 to FAMU for their anniversary! Y'all always showing out! I also want to extend a special thank you to my ISM IamKristin Harper for being a co-chair of the BADST Fortitude Scholarship. Collectively, Beta Alpha sorors raised over $132,000 to give to FAMU for scholarships! This is why we are #thebadst #therealbetaalpha #famu07 #titeturns10 #ent55 #webraggdifferent
