The sorority sisters of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. released an official statement on the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Saturday.

“Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated mourns the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. With service in her heart, Justice Ginsburg used the power in her voice to champion gender equality, civil liberties, and pay equity. Though small in stature, she has stood ‘notoriously’ tall in the face of adversity throughout her career. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an extraordinary woman.

We will keep her legacy alive by walking down the trails she blazed, keeping in mind her words, “Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.”
