Students At Middle Tennessee State University Are Speaking Up About The Importance Of Voting
The students at Middle Tennessee State University are speaking up and having their voices heard about the upcoming presidential election.
Watch The Yard sent cameras to the university to interview members of the Black fraternities and sororities on campus about why they think participating in the democratic process of voting is so important. The students, who are members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. opened up about why they think voting is important and why they think students at their school and people in the community surrounding the school should vote.
Julian Sieferth, a member of the Eta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and a senior at MTSU majoring in Multimedia Journalism produced this piece. For more of his work, check him out on Instagram and Twitter.
