Did you know that Miss Universe Ghana is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha?
It is true! It turns out that Ghanian-born Hilda Akua Frimpong is a member as well as a graduate of Texas A&M University.
Hilda graduated with a BA in Anthropology with a focus on international studies and she currently works as a corporate business developer.
As a person living with scoliosis, Hilda has dedicated her time to working with children and charities who deal with the spinal deformity. She is currently working with Family First International School in her hometown of Kumasi, Ghana to implement scoliosis screenings as part of their annual health screening.
