Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Midwestern Regional Conference Step Show Receives Local News Coverage

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. held its Midwestern Regional Conference recently and included a step show with sisters from across the nation.

We at Watch The Yard came across a clip from The Met Report, Metro State University of Denver’s Emmy-nominated student-run newscast of coverage of the step show that was done by an undergraduate member of Alpha Kappa Alpha named Kristen Pough. We thought that highlighting her report would be a great way to give this young reporter a national platform and show her sorority some love all at the same time.

The step show took place at the Grand Hyatt Downtown in Denver and features AKA steppers of different generations. Check out the full report below.
