Phi Beta Sigma Brings Thousands of Brothers to Tampa for 2025 Conclave

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated has officially kicked off its 2025 International Conclave in Tampa, Florida, bringing together thousands of members from across the country for a week filled with business, brotherhood, and service. The gathering runs from July 14–20, 2025, and serves as a pivotal moment for the organization’s leadership and membership to connect, plan, and celebrate.

International President Chris V. Rey has said that close to 10,000 brothers are expected to be in attendance during the week-long event.

Delegates from both undergraduate and graduate chapters will participate in sessions to vote on key matters that will shape the direction of the fraternity. In true Sigma fashion, the week also includes major community service initiatives that demonstrate the fraternity’s continued commitment to service.

On Tuesday, July 15, brothers, families, and supporters will volunteer with Metropolitan Ministries at its Tampa campus to support families in need. That same day, Phi Beta Sigma will also partner with Feeding Tampa Bay, with volunteers serving at the Causeway Center located at 3624 Causeway Blvd., offering hands-on support to local residents experiencing food insecurity.

As part of the week’s events, Phi Beta Sigma will be honored with a commemorative paver on the Tampa Riverwalk, a permanent acknowledgment of the fraternity’s legacy and service. The dedication ceremony will take place on Monday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m., near Big Ray’s Fish Camp restaurant at 333 S Franklin St.

In addition to business and service, the Conclave features signature celebratory events including the Miss International Phi Beta Sigma Pageant, the International Step Show & Stroll Competition, and the Grand Orchid Gala. The 2025 Conclave in Tampa is set to be a powerful blend of purpose, pride, and Sigma excellence.
