WGN America just released two trailers for a new John Legend-produced series entitled “Underground,”  about slaves trying to escape the antebellum South.

The star-studded cast features Aldis Hodge (“Straight Outta Compton,” “Leverage”) as “Noah” and Jurnee Smollett-Bell (“Friday Night Lights,” “The Great Debaters”) as “Rosalee,” two slaves planning an escape from their Georgia plantation.

The two trailers which were released yesterday, are told from the perspectives of the slaves and their slave owners. Check out both trailers below,the show premieres on March 9 on WGN America.
