Celebrating Pride: Recap of the 2024 D9 Pride Statements

Today is the last day of Pride Month 2024 and like every year, we at Watch The Yard have created a recap of the Divine 9 organizations who have posted statements in celebration of Pride and their LGBTQIA+ members.

This year the international headquarters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. all issued public statements via their social media channels.

We must also highlight that individual alumni and undergraduate chapters, including those from D9 organizations not listed above, posted statements on their social media channels. However, the focus of this particular article is to showcase the statements from the international headquarters representing the organizations on a national level.
