Kappa Alpha Psi Members Unite on “We The Nupes Remix”

What began as a viral anthem for Kappa Alpha Psi has evolved into a powerful nationwide collaboration. PA The Writer, a Houston-based hip hop artist and proud member of the fraternity, released We The Nupes in late 2023. The track quickly took off, earning over 250,000 streams, inspiring viral video reactions, and resonating across the Divine Nine, HBCU campuses, and beyond.

Building on that success, PA The Writer invited fraternity brothers from across the country to join him on an official remix. The result is We The Nupes Remix, a dynamic track featuring Larry Jr, Dawn Mula, Abu Da Don, Ricardo P, Outta Space, and Clay James. Each artist brings their own regional style and energy, showcasing the creative talent within Kappa Alpha Psi.

Among the contributors, Atlanta’s Clay James added both lyrical firepower and visibility to the project. While attending Georgia State University, Clay was mentored by Outkast legend Big Boi, a relationship that helped shape his artistry. Later, he signed with Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle Records, gaining national and international exposure. After seeing PA The Writer’s call for brothers to join the remix, Clay reached out, and early clips of him recording his verse began to go viral, helping spark the completion of the remix and music video.

The We The Nupes Remix video, filmed in Houston, Harlem, and at Morris Brown College in Atlanta, highlights the coast-to-coast unity and brotherhood at the heart of this project. The video is now live on YouTube, with a BET Jams premiere on the way.

Fans will have the chance to see the remix come to life on stage when PA The Writer, Clay James, and more of the featured artists perform at AGP Fest Presented By Atlanta Greek Picnic on July 26 at Atlantic Station Pinnacle Lot.
