Check Out The Letter Kappa Alpha Psi Wrote To W.E.B. DuBois In 1941 About Their Guide Right Program
Time for another great piece of history!
We at WatchTheYard.com have stumbled upon a letter from the brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi’s Beta Lambda Chapter to W.E.B. DuBois in 1941 asking him to speak to their Guide Right Program high school students.
The Beta Lambda Chapter is located at Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee and they were holding a program for their “National Guide Right Week.” According to the letter, they were holding multiple clinics for high school students about figuring out which career path they should take, giving out scholarships and wanted to cap off the week with a lecture from the distinguished W.E.B. DuBois.
