Thousands of Kappa Alpha Psi Brothers Unite in Phoenix for 87th Grand Chapter Meeting

The brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. have arrived in Phoenix, Arizona this week, for the 87th Grand Chapter Meeting, taking place July 1 through July 6, 2025. Kappa men from across the nation and around the globe have gathered for a week of business, fellowship, and celebration of Black excellence.

This year’s Grand Chapter Meeting, set against the vibrant backdrop of Phoenix, features business sessions, leadership forums, community service, and high-energy social events. The gathering also brings major economic impact to the host city, typically drawing nearly 15,000 attendees including Kappa brothers, their families, friends, and fellow members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and contributing millions to the local economy.

Founded in 1911, Kappa Alpha Psi is an international organization of more than 250,000 men committed to Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor. Hosted biennially, the Grand Chapter Meeting is the fraternity’s most significant gathering. The week-long event serves as a forum to conduct official business, elect new officers, share updates on initiatives, launch new programs, and honor the achievements of members and distinguished non-member awardees.
