Charity Softball Game in Houston Raises $1,000 in School Supplies From 1911 Community Service Organization
The 1911 Community Service organization stepped up to the plate this past Sunday, hosting a Charity Softball Game that resulted in over $1,000 worth of school supplies being donated to students in Alief Independent School District (ISD).

The event, led by nonprofit chairman and Greek Olympiks creator Kevin Cole, brought together community members, local leaders, and volunteers for an afternoon of friendly competition, unity, and giving back. Attendees contributed backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and other classroom essentials to ensure students start the school year ready to succeed.

“This was more than a game—it was a chance for us to come together as a community and invest in our future leaders,” said Cole. “We’re proud to stand with Alief ISD and help provide the resources students need to thrive.”
The charity softball game is part of 1911 Community Service’s ongoing commitment to education, youth development, and community engagement. The organization plans to host additional events throughout the year to continue supporting schools and families across the Greater Houston area.
