The First Lady of Baltimore, Hana Scott, Is Now a Fall 2025 Initiate of Delta Sigma Theta’s Baltimore Alumnae Chapter
Hana Scott, the First Lady of Baltimore, has joined Delta Sigma Theta’s Baltimore Alumnae Chapter as a member of The Chosen 86. A multi-hyphenate entrepreneur, strategist, and community leader, Scott brings a career defined by service, innovation, and empowerment to the sisterhood.
Scott is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Pugh Insights, where she specializes in bringing operational clarity and strategic direction to organizations across tech, pharma, education, finance, and the nonprofit sector. Her work centers on strengthening the infrastructure of community-centered organizations—helping early learning programs, nonprofits, and Black women–led businesses build the systems, partnerships, and processes needed to scale and close opportunity gaps. Her approach is rooted in a clear theory of change: when frontline organizations have strong systems and sustainable strategies, they can deliver more equitable and impactful services.

Her entrepreneurial vision extends into consumer goods as the Co-Founder of thicc sticc, a personal care brand designed to bring comfort and confidence to all thicc bodies. Drawing on her background in biotechnology, Scott helped formulate the brand’s signature products, Thigh High and Tit Spritz. Her work as a business owner has earned recognition through the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women in Business program.

My life’s work has always been centered around service, leadership, and empowerment. Whether supporting Black women entrepreneurs, championing Black families, or building operational systems for Black-led organizations, my mission has been to create pathways for others to thrive.”
She continued: “Becoming a member is not only a tremendous honor but also a responsibility I take seriously, as I commit my time, skills, and leadership to building the beloved community we all deserve, especially in Baltimore. I have already experienced the unbreakable bond of Sisterhood that this illustrious sorority represents. The Sorors of Baltimore Alumnae are extremely gracious and have given so much of themselves to welcome The Chosen 86. My linesisters are phenomenal, trailblazing women who continue to show up for one another with intention and love.”
