Delta Sigma Theta’s Baltimore Alumnae Chapter Reveals Its Fall 2025 Line, The Chosen 86
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Baltimore Alumnae Chapter has revealed its Fall 2025 line of new initiates, The Chosen 86, marking a major moment for one of the most historic chapters in the state of Maryland. Founded as the first Delta chapter in Maryland and serving the Baltimore community for more than 100 years, the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter continues to build on its legacy of service, leadership, and sisterhood with the introduction of its 23rd line.
Interest in the chapter’s 2025 intake was extraordinary, with approximately 1,000 women attending the Rush interest meeting—demonstrating the chapter’s strong presence and reputation across the Baltimore region. From this process emerged The Chosen 86, a group of dynamic, community-centered women now joining the ranks of Delta Sigma Theta.

Baltimore Alumnae Chapter President Geraldine Finch shared her pride in welcoming the new initiates, stating: “I’m honored to continue adding to the amazing legacy of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Baltimore Alumnae Chapter. As the oldest Chapter in Maryland, we have a responsibility to ensure Delta’s work continues to support and nurture this community. The Chosen 86 are committed to extending our legacy, and we are happy that they’ve joined our ranks with such love and support from the Divine Nine.”
Line Leader Krystle I. Myers, Esq. added: “The Chosen 86 is the first line I’ve led for the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter, and they will always be special to me. These women are accomplished in their own right and ready to deliver on their promise to serve the greater Baltimore community. I could not be more proud of them and this Chapter.”
