803 Fresh’s New Music Video for ‘Boots On The Ground’ Features SC State University’s Marching 101 Band and D9 Members

Southern Soul artist 803 Fresh has released the official music video for his viral debut single, Boots On The Ground!
Climbing to the top R&B US radio chart, the single was written by 803 Fresh and produced by T DA Wizard for Snake Eyez Music Group.
The video includes scenes shot on the historic campus of South Carolina State University and dynamic performance by SCSU’s acclaimed Marching 101 Band, alongside the university’s celebrated dance team, The Champagne Dancers, and members of Black fraternities and sororities.
We love it because it captures the energy, pride, and legacy of HBCU life while highlighting the musical traditions of the South. It also features some major Southern Soul star power with cameos from King George, Anthony Hamilton, Nova Wav, LaR’iyah Jesiree’ aka Ms. Shirley, and DJ Trucker.
The video was directed by Emmy® Award winner Chris O’Conner with creative direction by Corey Calder of Artist Publishing Group (APG).
At Watch The Yard, we salute the grassroots momentum this track has sparked. Boots On The Ground isn’t just a song—it’s a cultural celebration of community, rhythm, and Black excellence.
