Professor Kevin Cokley of the University of Texas at Austin directs the Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis, which focuses on African and African diaspora studies as well as educational research and development. He is also a professor in African and African diaspora studies.
Cokley is an African-American counseling psychologist, academic, and researcher. He is a Fellow of the UT System Academy of Distinguished Teachers and a Distinguished Teaching Professor at UT Austin.
