Alpha Phi Alpha Donates Essential Equipment to Abeadze State College in Ghana

The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in Ghana have made a meaningful contribution to Abeadze State College—the only senior high school serving the Abeadze Traditional Area in Ghana—by donating essential supplies to improve student life and learning conditions on campus.
According to the fraternity’s social media post, donation included two water pumps for the boys’ dormitories, dining hall tables and chairs, a cooker, and a refrigerator for the school’s Home Science Department. The initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Ghanaian members of Alpha Phi Alpha in both the United States and Ghana.

A formal presentation ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by Dasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, Paramount Chief of the Abeadze Traditional Area, along with his sub-chiefs. Also present were Headmistress Helena Sarpong, Assemblyman Charles Ennim, executives of the Parent-Teacher Association, teachers, and more than 350 students.

The fraternity’s gift is once again proof of Alpha Phi Alpha’s long-standing commitment to service, education, and uplifting communities across the African diaspora. By supporting Abeadze State College with critical resources, the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha are helping to ensure that students have access to a more comfortable, functional, and empowering educational environment.
