Alpha Kappa Alpha’s 2025 International Leadership Seminar Brings Estimated $27 Million Economic Impact to Anaheim
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is currently hosting its 2025 International Leadership Seminar at the Anaheim Convention Center, running from July 10–13. The event has drawn more than 9,600 members worldwide, making it one of the largest Black women-led conferences of its kind this year.
The seminar is making a powerful impression on the local area, not just in numbers, but in meaningful contributions. The sorority has reported the following numbers:
- 9,600+ attendees
- $27 million+ estimated economic impact in the Anaheim area
- 20,000+ items donated to local organizations
- 76,800+ service hours dedicated to Anaheim communities
As members engage in workshops, service projects, and leadership development, Alpha Kappa Alpha continues to show the lasting impact of Black women organizing for change—locally and globally.
