Zeta Phi Beta’s Tau Eta Zeta Chapter Introduces Largest Intake Class in 22-Year History
The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Tau Eta Zeta Chapter in Baltimore, Maryland has officially made history, formally presenting its Fall 2025 Intake Class of 20 new sorors, the largest intake class in the chapter’s 22-year legacy.
Collectively known as ImmeaZurable Impact, the class name reflects contributions that defy measurement by touching lives, shaping communities, shifting culture, and inspiring future generations. The professional women of ImmeaZurable Impact include educators, social workers, healthcare professionals, ministers, project managers, and public servants. They are mothers, sisters, aunts, and friends who lead with purpose and serve with intention.
The new sorors were introduced during a sold-out reception attended by more than 250 guests, held under the theme “A Legacy Beyond Measure, An Impact Without Limits.” With unmistakable presence and pride, the women lifted their voices in song and boldly declared, “We are the sisters of Z-Phi-B!” On December 20, 2025, Tau Eta Zeta Chapter officially marked this milestone moment of growth, excellence, and enduring impact.

During the program, the class highlighted the rich history of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, founded by the visionary Five Pearls: Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl Anna Neal, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, and Fannie Pettie Watts. They also honored the legacy of the Tau Eta Zeta Chapter, chartered on August 5, 2003, by fourteen trailblazing women whose vision expanded Zeta’s service and presence throughout the Baltimore community.
The celebration included greetings from Kayla Clark, International Second Vice President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The presence of Malwan Johnson, International First Vice President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, further demonstrated the strength of unity. Maryland State Directors from both organizations were also in attendance, reflecting broad support at both the state and international levels.

The keynote address was delivered by Gina Merritt-Epps, Esq., International First Vice President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, who charged the new members to lead with courage, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to service.
“These twenty women stepped out of a journey that challenged, refined, and transformed them,” the chapter shared, reinforcing their strengthened commitment to scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.

“Through this experience, I’ve learned to lead with intention and impact, answering a spiritual calling that challenges me to uplift others while becoming my highest self,” said new member Crystal Parker. Fellow soror Sheree Boyd added, “This experience deepened my appreciation for the principles and legacy of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. My commitment is to uphold and advance these principles for future generations.”
