Super Dominica (Emerald Queen)
Fighting Class: Athlete, Mystic

One of the most mysterious members of the Caribbean Justice Alliance. She is said to reside in the forests of Dominica. She is different from the Kalinago Super Dominica in many ways. Her strength resonates with the trees, vegetation and forestry. Kalinago Super Dominica can communicate with animals. This one has a direct link to plants. The members of CJA are sometimes confused as to whether she is very confident or just plain insane. Like Scarlet (Tobago) this flavor of Super Dominica doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything. She talks a lot when she fights and would often succeed with annoying the enemy and even members of her crew with smart talk. They have never seen her alter ego/ normal state. They’ve also never really seen her angry. Yurumei (St. Vincent) believes that the Emerald Queen is hiding a lot of her power. A lot of her attacks are speed-based but it is still Yurumei still has a hunch that her power would increase should she ever get angry. She is a big fan of natural hair and would rather roll with Solar Flare(Antigua) also a natural hair fanatic. Afro Super Dominica is one of those girls who is not afraid of frogs. When you are a forest girl that’s the least of your worries. She has giant frog as a pet will sometimes appear in times of desperation. She can fly and focus nature energy and at time combine powers with Kalinago Super Dominica for more effective attacks. Yurumei believes that the Legendary Captain Dominica may have more info on Afro Super Dominica’s origins. She plans to find out more from him.

Ray Venom – Haiti
Fighting Class: Warrior, Brawler, Strategist, Survivalist

At the age of 2 Dr. Ray Charlemagne began showing signs of an extraordinary gift. Being part of a historic bloodline that could be linked back to the Haitian Revolution, he was always viewed special with his capabilities. He taught himself how to add and subtract. At the age of four he had an IQ of 159 – just one point below that of Einstein and Stephen Hawking. During this time his family moved to New York in hopes for a better life. With his advanced knowledge schools began skipping him in grades. At 13 he began his studies at St. John’s University, where he spent many years mastering his craft. Graduating with double majors, he advanced towards a master’s degree in Quantum Medical Technology. He later goes on receiving his Ph.D. Doctorate in Immunology & Microbiology. Many of his medical inventions bestowed onto him a magnitude of wealth.

Part of the elite young, black professionals, he grew in popularity among his peers. At age 29 he got diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in his brain. This was a pivotal moment of his young life. Not taking a lost in this battle, he decided to live the remaining portions of his life giving back.

Always staying true to his Haitian Pride and Roots. He wanted to do something to give back to his island nation and the less fortunate. With his wealth he opened several schools and health centers in Port au Prince. Being back to his home island gave him peace of mind, and clarity on simple living. Tranquility, he thought would be what was needed for his vision of an Advance research facility. Mixing the philosophy of his traditional cultured fighting art form of the Cannon fist “Vision Over Reality”He believe by finding a natural cure for cancer not just for himself, but beneficial to the millions of people who can’t afford the process of fighting it. Using his vision and passion would will a way throughout reality, even if it seems impossible.

He dove into researching natural remedies from both plants and animals in hopes of creating cheaper, natural serums and drugs. During his hopes into discovering a new species of venomous stingrays at Stingray cove. Something happened that would change His life. A tremendous vortex opened up beneath the rifts where he was swimming.. It was the whistler, he oriented a vortex to enter this world. A vortex that merged the negative realm with earth.. Dr. Charlemagne found himself entangled with the very species he was hoping to find. Forged within the force of fusion the vortex created. His spine was infused with that of the stingray’s. Horrified by his appearance, he went exile for some time. During that time to his astonishment the venom secreted by the glands of the stingray, seemed to have attacked the cancerous tumor cells within him..

This began an obsession into studying venom from both plants and animals. Fusing the philosophy of the cannon fist and his new power of venom gave birth to Ray Venom.

Tremr – St. Lucia
Fighting Class: Brawler

His name says it all. A man who is hailed by his comrades of the Caribbean Justice Alliance as the Mighty Earthquake. In the world of CJA St. Lucia is one of those islands with two Super Heroes. Tremr and his twin sister, Roxsan have been endowed with the “Pitons Power” which gives them the ability to manipulate the earth. Tremr focuses on Seismic activity while his is sister manipulates the rocks and boulders. Tremr can change the density of any part of his body. In doing so dodging bullets is not necessary. The Golemn Fist is literally a Hand of Stone. Tremr is is pretty easy-going dude unlike his sister who’s always screaming at somebody. He’s been chasing after Super Dominica for a date ever since he heard her say that she is only into men who can speak can fish, cook and speak creole. As much as he would like to stay by her side 100% of the time, Tremr’s best team up partner is his sister. A lot of their attacks cannot be done when they are apart. His fighting style annoys people like Kneva and Jamaica X (masters of the the stealth) because his moves are so noisy. But they understand that there is no such thing as a quiet earthquake. CJA will depend on Tremr to clear out large group of enemies quick. He is always up for a good fight.

Yurumei – St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Fighting Class: Legend

She is one of the founding members of the Caribbean Justice Alliance. Her experience and foresight has earned her the respect of all members. Of course one thing that does stand out is her blunt attitude. At some point she’s going to say something that upsets someone. Well at the age of ** Yurumei doesn’t really care if she knows that she’s telling the truth. Looks good for her age tho. Given her background, military training and experience is usually the one who assigns the Caribbean Super Heroes on missions. She knows just about all the strengths and weaknesses of all the Supers (well all except Scarlet from Tobago. Nobody can understand that crazy girl any way). She has 360 Vision so it’s next to impossible to surprise attack. Yurumei also has the ability to move objects with her mind. And since multi-tasking for her comes so easy, reading all those romance novels on the job is now a part of who she is. Her son, Vincent G has to endure a lot her rigorous training regiments but he can handle it. She once made him fly laps around the Grenadines. Yurumei is often the person to give the younger members reality checks when they mess up or developing formations based on each hero’s skill set. Her smarts really show in her constant use of sarcasm to prove a point. Again that’s something that comes with age (which we still aren’t revealing). Not even Vincent knows the full extent of his mother’s power so to most of CJA she is still a mystery. There are other Legend types but all CJA members all acknowledge Yurumei as well-needed on the squad.

Vincent G – St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Fighting Class: Strategist

15 Year-Old Vincent G already has a Masters Degree in Computer Science. His Mother, (Lt Yurumei) is one of the founding members of the Caribbean Justice Alliance. It just so happens that her some of her Super Genes were passed on to him as she too has a great mind. “I will allow you to join CJA but your main focus will be intelligence gathering and tech support. And remember to always keep that mask on when on missions. I can’t allow too many of these guys out there to know you’re my son.” are the words she told him. And of course he still disobeys her. After learning to fly, Vincent soon found that he had the ability to transform any inanimate object into a robot or animatronic warrior. He creates all the fancy gear that the crew uses on their missions, fixes errors in the mainframe between playing video games with BB (Bahamas). He still has a lot to learn from his over protective mother who makes everything in his life some type challenge he must overcome. Vincent G often hangs out with other teen heroes like Bahamia Blue aka BB (Bahamas), BVI Boy (BVI) and La Poderoza (Dominican Republic).

VI Girl – US Virgin Islands
Fighting Class: Athlete, Warrior*

VI Girl is often acclaimed as the “Fastest Woman in the Caribbean” by her comrades. If CJA had golden warrior it would be VI Girl. Her speed comes from her ability to super charge herself by gathering static electricity in her surroundings. She was mocked as a child for her unusual hair color. This came as a result of a Mysterious GOLD GENE which causes humans to possess certain abilities and alter certain bodily features. In VI Girl’s case, it was her hair run very fast and charge electricity.
The greater the charge the faster she will run. Athlete types are great with speed but generally not so big on strength however, if Vi Girl over charges she will go into “Warrior Mode” gaining the VI Shield, super strength, and an electric sword. Over-charging also gains her the ability to fly. A proud Virgin Islander, VI Girl is always challenging Super Dominica to a duel. But We’ll see how that goes.

Captain Trinidad – Trinidad
Fighting Class: Brawler

Standing at about 8 ft, Captain Trinidad is a true mountain of a man. HIs powers are pretty straight forward; tough skin and Super Human strength. Captain T is often very optimistic and tries to motivate the members of the CJA team when they need it. He is a master of cooking several Caribbean dishes and is, at times, responsible for feeding theentire team. They all love his Roti. In conflicts He’d rather not fight but with brawler classes when pushed to the limit they really cause some destruction. No one knows for sure just how strong Captain T is. There is always this idea that he is holding back. What we do know is that his body is strong enough to withstand automatic fire. Only elemental attacks will work against him. Not fancy punches and kicks. It is not uncommon to find BB riding on his shoulders in fights since they compliment each other on speed vs power.. These two along side Scarlet make a great team. (More info on this character will be provided as time progresses)

Scarlet Ballerina – Tobago
Fighting Class: Weapons Specialist, Athlete, Survivalist, Strategist

In short, she’s insane. Scarlet was born, raised and trained in Tobago but is not your typical fighter. She looks up to Captain Trinidad as a mentor and followed his life lessons closely. But perhaps the main thing that sets Scarlet apart from the other Caribbean Heroes is her lowered sense of emotionslike fear or anxiety even in the face of danger. Nadia has checked her head several times and she seems to be fine. Scarlet gets a rush when put in dire and dangerous situations and seems to fight better when her life is in danger. Everything from scaling treacherous rock faces without a harness to rushing into gunfire with nothing but Katana blades to defend herself is on her resume. But showing less fear doesn’t mean that she’s completely irrational or just a mad woman. The 2 blades on her back a reversed edged for the sake of incapacitating rather than killing enemies. Most of Scarlet’s attacks actually dance moves which she developed as a twist on the training she received. She fights better with music on (particularly Soca Music) and so it is not uncommon to go into battle wearing headphones. Hand to hand combat is her first line of defense. If she takes out those Katana blades, then things are serious. Caribbean Justice Heroes who fall into 3 or more fighting classes are perfect for solo missions as is the case withe Scarlet, who can be as loud as St. Lucia’s Tremr and Roxsan or as quiet as St. Kitts’ ninja girl Kneva. At full power each of her blades burn with a black and red flames. Scarlet as an insatiable appetite for all types of Caribbean food. She’s a rival of Jamaica X because she thinks he’s the most dangerous person on the team and is intrigued by that. Like him she’d usually show up at the last minute trying to be all heroic and stuff. But you can count on the fact that the when she is in fight that she will use all six sides of that room to her advantage. Scarlet likes teaming up with Bahamia Blue (because of her heightened sense of hearing) and Captain Trinidad (because of his Super Strength and ability to literally throw her places.) She’s easily a lovable character since always ends up being the life of the party at CJA HQ.

BVI Boy – British Virgin Islands
Fighting Class: Athlete, Strategist

17 year-old BVI was born in Virgin Gorda and raised in Tortola. Through out his early childhood he has always been a hardcore soccer fan. He idolized legends like Pelee. So it was no surprise that he ended up being great on his feet. Soon BVI Boy discovered that he had the ability to generate kinetic energy balls that he could bounce, manipulate and detonate at will. Since BVI Boy is more skillful with his feet than hands a lot of his attacks include dribbling and shooting; he views every enemies as a goalie. While some view his techniques as just a few tricks they are quickly silenced when he shoots one on them. BVI likes teaming up with Rocxan (From St. Lucia) since she has the ability to change the density of the kinetic energy spheres he creates by adding in some metals and minerals. Using soccer skills on a battle field is unorthodox but it always catches the enemy off guard. Oh and he likes Manchester United.

The fitness buff from St. Lucia. .Roxsan and her twin brother, Tremr both possess the Piton Power and as such have the power to control the element of earth. Tremr controls seismic activity while Roxsan can manipulated rocks and sand and just about every mineral in the ground. She can reshape and restructure almost any metal. You’d be better off fighting against her with a plastic sword. She is a strict trainer and takes her health very seriously. As with other Brawler Types like Super Dominica, Captain Trinidad, and her own brother, Roxy will tend to take on enemies several times her size. She can cause rocks to float and use them as her ride. But something that is always in the way of her full potential is her ego. She’s seems to always be angry at someone or something. It’s usually her brother who calms her down even though sometimes in a fight her rage could be a good thing. She is still protective of Tremr. Although they are no longer kids as the older twin, she often feels responsible when something happens to him. Roxsan is always at odds with Super Dominica because she thinks SD is in love with her brother, when it’s actually the other way around.  But CJA would not be complete without her. Tremr has to rely on her to do many of his attacks. They make a great team.

Nadia aka Spice Woman – Grenada
Fighting Class: Strategist/ Survivalist

Dr. Nadia Green is a chemist. Her husband is a surgeon. A lab accident left them both with green hair and eyes and a heightened sense of vision. Also enhanced were their cognitive abilities which enables them to calculate large equations in seconds. Nadia has the best vision in all the CJA members. Her line of sight is so good that killing an ant with an arrow from 300 meters away is child’s play. Not only can she see objects from far away, she can see the entire molecular structure of any object in one blink. This comes in handy with disarming things like bombs or knowing whether something is poisoned or not. They call her the Spice Woman because she is a specialist in creating formulas that can that can do several different things to the human body. And she does all of this with herbs and spices. This is something Afro Super Dominica is fascinated with since most of her strength does come trees and vegetation. With this ability combined with her immaculate eyesight, Nadia develops toxins for her arrows for slowing down enemies. Most of the time she uses non-lethal solutions. Both Nadia and her husband are the ones responsible for patching up the team when they get hurt. They both understand medicine and make great partners for anyone on a mission. The only married couple in the Caribbean Justice Alliance. Jamaica X often finds himself relying on her stealth and visual prowess on missions. Her bow is stored in her gloves and is activated when it’s action time. Personality-wise Naida makes one feel that you always need a chemist by your side. She is often mistaken for only being a far-range combat but Nadia can hold her own in hand to hand combat. Truly an asset to the Alliance.

Jamaica X – Jamaica
Fighting Class: Weapon Specialist, Strategist, Survivalist

Possibly the most perceptive member of the Caribbean Justice Alliance; he is usually the first to sense when something is wrong. As with all Weapons Classes X knows a variety of fighting skills with different types of weapons. However his main weapon is a huge sword he calls the “Black Blade.” The Black Blade is a shape-shifting sword has a minimum weight of 75lbs yet he maneuvers it like a feather. The Black Blade can manipulate elements like fire, water, air and earth. Even sound can controlled by the blade. It also has a de-materializing feature which can literally erase objects. As a strategist he takes the lead in insurgent operations and despite the size of his sword he is still a master of stealth. He prefers working with heroes like Kneva (from St. Kitts) and Nadia (The Spice Woman from Grenada) since they are also Survivalists. But X trusts no one. He is always adamant about taking on challenges by himself or going on covert missions without notifying the CJA. Arrogant, yes, but is usually right about his hunches and hypothesis. He sort of has a thing for Kneva but with her monkey constantly in the way, we are not sure what’s going on. So what if Super Dominica can fly. X doesn’t need to. Master several martial arts and god-like agility is enough to make up for that.

 Kneva – St. Kitts Nevis
Fighting Class: Survivalist, Strategist

Born in Nevis and raised in St. Kitts, today Kneva is probably the most secretive on the Caribbean Justice Alliance. Kneva has been trained as a ninja to never show the enemy any type of emotion in combat, so you’d be lucky if you caught her smiling. While many of the other Super Heroes flash their immense-outlandish powers, Kneva is no show off. She get the job done in the quickest time possible through her mastery of stealth and remaining hidden. Kneva was trained to be an assassin but to ths day refuses to kill. Perhaps one the most unusual of her abilities is the skill of manipulating Sugar Crystals. She can create anything out of sugar including weapons and clones of herself. Her pet monkey is also highly skilled as always present somewhere in the shadows. Kneva doesn’t have Super strength but she is still good match for Brawlers like Captain Trinidad and Warriors like Super Dominica. It’s her lack of emotion that throws them off which often poses a problem in her relationship to Jamaica X. Kneva wins most of her fights by confusing her enemies with an attack called the Kittitian Mirage: a barrage of Sugar Clones.

La PodeRoza – Dominican Republic
Fighting Class: Athlete, Brawler*

Roza Baez was born into a family of all boys. Helping out in her father’s store and heavy lifting soon became a major part of her life. At age 9 her Mr. Baez noticed that his daughter was getting incredibly strong. For sometime he thought it was because she was always hanging with her brothers. He also could not understand why her hair grew so fast either. Things really started getting strange when she started participating in amateur boxing competitions. She beat everyone, both men and women at the mere age of 14. As unoriginal as her name is it came as a result of her quick knockouts. Some people in Santo Domingo started looking at her as the embodiment of pure power. Others thought she was a monster and even tried to kill her quite a few times. Mr. Baez feared for his daughter’s saftey. He knew that her incredible strength was starting to get out of hand. He knew of a friend who knew Yurumei of the Caribbean Justice Alliance. At the age of 16 Roza was left in the care of Yurumei. She would learn how to control her power, speak fluent English and other forms of etiquette. Under Yurumei’s strict training Roza discovered the “gracefulness” that exists in the use of her power. Unlike a lot of the other Caribbean Alliance members, she is both Brawler and Athlete. This means that she is proficient in the use of both speed and power at the same time. This also means that she has two main fighting styles. GRACEFUL and SAVAGE. When she first arrived under Yurumei’s care the Tom-Boy Roza thought that in order to be strong she had to try to like one of the guys. Yurumei blew that ideology away when she taught her the GRACEFUL use of rose petals to turn the opponent’s strength against them. Sometimes those rose petals are used as tiny blades. This “Mind-over-Matter” training soon gave Roza the ability to fly. GRACEFUL style is meant for defense where as SAVAGE style is mainly offensive as it makes use of powerful punches. Roza still has quirks about accepting help from boys but she understands that being strong has nothing to do with gender; that you can love flowers and still kick bad guy butt. And that’s ok. Roza has gotten used to her long hair and makes sure she that it’s always cut just above her heels. Both Super Dominica and Roza hate when people mistake Dominica for Dominican Republic and somehow that has fostered a friendship between them. She’s found friends in BB (Bahamas), Vincent G and BVI Boy, her crush. (Of course BVI Boy is more concerned with soccer to even notice her most of the time.) These 4 teenagers will often go on their own adventures by sneaking from under Yurumei’s watchful eyes. But she knows what they are up to about 90% of the time. The 16 year old hopes to use her powers to fight crime in Santo Domingo when she is finished her training.

Solar Flare – Antigua & Barbuda
Fighting Class: Athlete, Strategist

Shanika Blaze had to work long and hard to get her anger issues in check. Well when you have powers that are based on the Sun and it’s energy things tend to get hot. Today she is one of the kindest people on the team. It’s not hard to see why Solar Flare could become one of most dangerous members of the Caribbean Justice Alliance if pushed to the limit. The catch is that she grows a bit weaker at night and would have to rely on geothermal energy for power. The Solar Energy that she wields causes her eyes to glow and at full power her entire body will shine as bright as the sun. She likes hanging out with Afro Super Dominica since they are both fanatics for natural hair.

Super Dominica (Waitukubuli Warrior) – Dominica
Fighting Class: Warrior

Claire Valmond was born into a family that was steeped in the Kalinago Traditions. Over time the 19 -year-old grew annoyed at her mother’s obsession of preserving pottery, baskets and other items significant to the Kalinago culture. In so much that she eventually despised it. But a series of events changed that when Claire encountered a special vase which gave her the ability to transform into a beautiful Carib Fighter known as the Waitukubuli Warrior. Caribbean Justice Alliance members refer to her as Super Dominica. In the transformation Claire goes from being a mere 5 ft to 5.5ft, having jet black long hair. Her voice changes and takes on a completely different personality. Claire’s fanatical mother believes that down throughout Carib history in Dominica that there has always been a “Super Dominica” of some sort and that she has chosen to manifest herself in Claire. Claire is fully aware of herself as Super Dominica but is constantly haunted by visions of an ancient Kalinago woman holding a long spear. This, Claire’s mom believes, is The Legendary Kalinago Warrior- the first of Dominica’s protectors. To this day Super Dominica searches for answers.
Super Dominica’s power is rooted in Nature itself. She cannot control all aspects of nature however can speak and understand all animal languages perfectly, can wield water, fly, focus nature energy for special attacks and has Super Strength. She has to dodge bullets as she is NOT a Woman of Steel.
She has a direct connection to “Dominica’s Heart” and instantly knows when something is terribly wrong on the island. Now that Claire has tapped into Super Dominica’s power she has gained a wealth of knowledge concerning Ancient styles of combat which is why she falls into a Warrior Class. She also received some more training from Yurumei (from St. Vincent) Personality-wise, SD is overall very easy going. She will get the job done as quick as possible no questions asked. Her main rival is VI Girl. There is a vibe between these two that no one can explain. Apart from the fact that Tremr (St. Lucia) is always trying to impress her and the comedic Captain Trinidad always challenging her to a test of Super Strength, her relationship with the whole gang is ok.

(Credit to Josanna Lockhart who aided in the designing of Super Dominica’s custom. She made sure that we included the loin cloth in the final work.)
