The Alexandria–Fairfax Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Celebrates 50 Years of Achievement

Fifty years of leadership, mentorship, and service. The Alexandria-Fairfax Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. just celebrated its 50th Chartering Anniversary, marking half a century of impact across Northern Virginia.
Chartered in 1976 as the first alumni chapter established in Northern Virginia, the chapter has spent five decades building programs that serve the community, from a youth aviation program at Stafford Airport to a fatherhood mental health initiative.
The chapter commemorated the milestone with a full weekend: a black-tie Chartering Day Gala at the Waterford Banquet Hall in Springfield, VA, an all-white day party, and worship at Alfred Street Baptist Church. The gala also honored community leaders including Alexandria Mayor Alyia Gaskins and Supervisor Rodney Lusk.
Check out some of the photos provided to Watch The Yard from the chapter of the celebration:

Congratulations to the men of Kappa Alpha Psi on 50 years of excellence. Here’s to the next 50.
