Jerry Lorenzo, the acclaimed American fashion designer and founder of the luxury brand Fear of God, has officially joined the San Fernando-Santa Clarita (CA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated as part of their Fall 2024 line.
Renowned for redefining American fashion through his unique approach that blends streetwear and luxury as the creator of independent American luxury fashion label Fear of God, Lorenzo’s initiation into the fraternity underscores Kappa Alpha Psi’s tradition joining high-achieving individuals in a bond of fraternity. A graduate of Florida A&M University (FAMU) and holder of an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, Lorenzo exemplifies the fraternity’s motto, “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.”
Speaking exclusively to Watch The Yard, Lorenzo shared his feelings about joining Kappa Alpha Psi as an alumni member:
“My intention and desire is to stay in the will of His (God’s) Story for my life… Things may not always happen on my time, but they are made perfect in His. Humbled to be a strong member of this bond and excited to amplify the original intention of the 10 men who carried and set in place the vision of the greatest fraternity known to man. Kappa represents to me a realization of a dream deferred… I’ll be speechless for the next few days… humbled to be one of 10 equal parts of the Fall 2024 Valley Nupes of the Alumni Chapter of SFSC!”
Lorenzo who is the TRE KLUB on his line and has the line name “MIIILAN” joins a distinguished line called “The Kommiss10n” that includes the following brothers:
- KING KLAR1TY (Gerald “Grand” Doe): Howard University graduate, actor, and owner of Grand Doe Enterprises.
- HIND2IGHT (Micah Moore): Pasadena, CA, studying counseling at Cal State Long Beach.
- MAV4RICK (DuMarkus Davis): American violinist, tech entrepreneur, community activist, and Gates Millennium Scholar.
- FI5TH ELEMENT (Enrique Taylor): Marketing graduate from Morgan State University with a career in advertising for Fortune 500 companies.
- KOOL BREEZE (Michael Boyd): Registered nurse pursuing graduate studies to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Azusa Pacific University.
- KAIRO (Terayle Marquis Hill): Actor, musician, and entrepreneur, Clark Atlanta University graduate, and co-founder of Everybodies Inc.
- R8KK STEADY (Semaj Miller): Award-winning actor and writer from Chicago, known for performances in major theaters and his impactful short film, #MoreLife.
- ANKH9R (Ashley Sean Thomas): Celebrated fashion stylist and co-founder of a fashion company, with experience styling celebrities and publishing work in esteemed outlets.
- KOACH (Ashly McCullough): Special education teacher and head boys’ basketball coach at Eastside High School, and branch director for West Coast Elite AAU programs.

The San Fernando-Santa Clarita Alumni Chapter, established in 2013, has consistently brought in members who reflect the best of Kappa Alpha Psi, and the addition of Lorenzo and his line brothers continues that proud legacy.
