Kenneth Lofton was born on May 31, 1967, in East Chicago, Indiana. He earned a basketball scholarship to the University of Arizona, where he played point guard alongside future NBA champion and coach Steve Kerr and helped lead the Wildcats to the 1988 NCAA Final Four.
