Alpha Kappa Alpha Inducts Salesforce President and COFO Robin Washington as an Honorary Member

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has inducted Salesforce President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer Robin Washington as an Honorary Member. The induction took place during the sorority’s 72nd Boule in Las Vegas.
Robin Washington is President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer (COFO) at Salesforce, where she leads business strategy and operations, global finance, employee success, marketing, communications, and real estate and workplace services. She is responsible for driving profitable growth and operational excellence while accelerating the transformation of every company into an Agentforce company in the new agentic era.

A seasoned executive, Washington has spent decades at the forefront of operational and financial strategy at some of the world’s most respected companies. She has served as a Salesforce board director since 2013, including as lead independent director from 2022 to 2025, playing a critical role in the company’s strategic transformation.
Previously, she served as executive vice president and CFO of Gilead Sciences from 2008 to 2019, CFO of Hyperion Solutions from 2006 to 2007, and chief accounting officer of PeopleSoft. Washington also currently serves on the board of directors of Alphabet.
She is a certified public accountant and received her BA in business administration from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Washington was inducted as part of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s 2026 Honorary Member Class, alongside Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett-Helaire, LaTanya Jackson, Merline Saintil, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, and Pauletta Washington.
The induction came as more than 25,000 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha converged on Las Vegas for the sorority’s 72nd Boule, its international meeting, held July 18 through July 24, 2026, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center. Under this year’s theme, “Soaring Together: Celebrating Our Impact on Service & Sisterhood,” the sorority anticipated as many as 27,000 members from around the world for a week of community service, leadership and educational sessions, business meetings, and celebrations of the organization’s history, all under the leadership of International President and CEO Danette Anthony Reed.
